Upon consideration of Appellant's Emergency Motion for Extension of Time to

Comply with Court's Amended Order Regarding Submission of Appellant's Initial

Brief, it is ordered that the time for the simultaneous filing of briefs submitted by Bill

Salmon for appellant and the State of Florida are extended to and including 5:00

p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2000.

Oral argument is hereby scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2000 with

a maximum of 20 minutes to the side for argument.

The execution of Bennie Demps is stayed until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June

7, 2000.

George F. Schaefer's Motion to Withdraw as Court-Appointed Counsel is

hereby denied.

Counsel for appellant shall submit applications for fees and costs to this Court

at the conclusion of their representation of Bennie Demps in this Court.
