Police say Virginia is not a credible witnesses for 4
reasons:
Here's why:
- Because Virginia says the getaway vehicle for the gunman was in place when
he ran out the building.
- Unlikely because Norm did not notice a vehicle in place when returning
from K-Mart.
- Unlikely because Emma did not notice a vehicle in place when entering
the building after getting back from lunch.
- Unlikely because police say it would take perfect timing for the getaway
vehicle to be in place after such a robbery would take place.
- Because police say it would be foolish for a robber to use a sawed-off
shotgun for a weapon.
- Police say if it were an experienced robber he would have used a smaller
weapon which would be eaiser to conceal. Police say this would have to
be a foolish robber.
- Because if it was a robber he would not have left 1.5 bottles of Valium
behind (1500 pills), stating that this drug would be like gold to a
robber/user.
- The safe was opened without damage or signs of damage. Police
determined the safe was not robbed. No fingerprints were taken.
Based on all the above, police cannot resolve how or why it would be a
robbery and claim it would have been impossible for the gunman to be in the
building and hiding in the back.
One reason Virginia was convicted was because one juror said that the defense
had not offered a reasonable alternative as to what happened that day. No
such version was offered to account for the perfect timing of the getaway
vehicle, the weapon and Valium left behind. Defense had not provide
reasonable doubt.
Virginia is a
credible witnesses for these reasons:
What Really Happened:
Based on all that we have read in the interviews, transcripts, photos and
witnesses, the following took place:
- 3 No-shows, appointments were bogus to clear witnesses of the lunch hour.
- Emma went to lunch at 11:55 AM.
- Norm went after lunch for him and Virginia at 12:00 Noon.
- Kris showed up wanting to know why she was fired on 3/1/91, 7 days
earlier. Virginia said she will explain later.
- Kris did Virginia a favor and picked up the mail at the post office.
- Kris returned, and left again to do several more favors. Virginia said
that she and Norm will make a decision as to Kris when he gets back.
- Norm returned with lunch about 12:18 PM.
- Virginia and Norm ate and talked.
- Norm left to get a square root calculator from K-Mart at about 12:35 PM.
- Virginia left the building at about 12:45 PM on foot to the mail drop box
and several other places
- The gunman/robber entered the building at about 12:47 PM though the open
side door.
- Mr. French dropped off a lab delivery at about 12:50 PM though the open
side door. Mr. French heard what sounded like a male cough in the back
room.
- The gunman/robber was in the process of robbing the safe.
- Virginia and Norm returned at about 12:55 PM
- Emma also returned from lunch at about 12:55 PM
- All 3 talking for a bit
- Virginia and Norm heard a noise in the back room. They thought it
was a machine acting up again.
- Hilda, the 1:00 PM appointment drives up.
- Virginia left the lab area, greets Hilda while Emma goes to Room #3 after
the instruments.
- Emma came back from Room #3 with the instruments in her hand. Norm and
Emma talked briefly as Virginia came around the corner with Hilda's chart in
her hand. Virginia put the chart in the wall chart holder.
- Emma continues to Room #1 with instruments in hand. Norm and
Virginia are talking about Jason.
- Emma is now preparing Room #1, bleaching the room for Hilda the next
patient.
- Virginia left Norm in the hallway as her and Norm are still talking.
- Norm headed to the waiting room door to get Hilda.
- Norm heard a noise from the back again and it sounds suspicious.
Moments before opening the waiting room door for Hilda, Norm turned around and
headed to the back of the hallway to investigate the noise.
- Norm saw the gunman/robber, stealing from the
safe. The robber/gunman appeared to be a serious threat.
- Norm ran from the robber/gunman toward the waiting room. The
robber/gunman could not finish robbing the safe and left some drugs behind.
- Norm ran down the hall and opened the waiting room door. Norm flew
around the door. Virginia then looked up from her desk and it appeared
to her that Norm was getting ready to take Hilda to the back.
- Norm then said, "Where's Jason?"
- Virginia said, "Jason? Where's Jason???"
- The robber stopped at the closed door and fired a single shot. Emma
saw the back of the robber/gunman. Virginia saw Norm get hit. She saw
Norm spin around and hit the floor. Hilda heard Norm say, "Help me".
- The getaway vehicle heard the shot and moves into place.
- The robber/gunman told his driver in
advance should something go wrong, should a shot go off, get into place,
quick.
- Virginia ran toward Norm and ran into the robber/gunman where the lab and
hallway meet.
- Virginia's hand went upward on the robber/gunman's arm taking his skin and
blood under the nails.
- The robber/gunman pushed Virginia to the floor and her head hit the coffee
machine.
- Virginia got up and saw the robber/gunman leap over the rail as he ran out
the side door.
- Virginia saw him get into a Toyota type vehicle, saw 2 tag numbers and saw
the word "Garden". Virginia saw motorcycles.
- Virginia ran to the phone and dialed 9-1-1. Virginia reported the
event. Emma was still hiding in Room #1 extremely afraid. Virginia
called for Emma to come to the phone so she could run to Norm.
- Emma finished talking to 9-1-1 while Virginia held Norm.
- Emergency crew arrived. Refused to let Virginia ride with her dying
husband to the hospital.
- Norm died in route to the hospital.
With the above, we have explained the events. We have explained:
We have determined this using thousands of transcripts, actual taped
interviews, 9-1-1 taped call & transcript, photos, building layout, witness
statements. As of to date no one has introduced the idea that Norm walked
in on the robber. Based on all the evidence, this is the most reasonable
of what took place.
Should a special investigation take place, police will learn who
gave out the combo of the safe. This holds the key. A detective has solved the case. What can be done about it? Click here.
