Friends:

Here's the latest word about plans for the March 5 RALLY FOR
JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY. Tell all your friends. It's shaping
up to be a great event!

LOCATION: Old Capitol Building, front steps. Speakers will
be on the
landing, halfway up the steps. Display tables will line the
sidewalk in
front of the steps.

PROGRAM:
10:00 a.m. Program begins. More than 20 people are
scheduled to speak. Jeff Walsh will be the master of ceremonies.
12:00 noon. Press conference and principal speakers.
Three main
speakers:
Marty McClain, attorney for Frank Lee Smith.
Gerald Kogan, former Chief Justice, Florida Supreme Court
Barry Scheck, nationally known attorney, with the Innocence Project.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. Come and bring your friends. If you can stay the
whole time, fine.
In any case, you'll probably want to be there between 12:00 and
1:00.
2. Help set up and take down tables, chairs, sound system,
banner,
etc. We can use more people to set things up between 9:00 and
10:00, and to take them down around 2:00.
3. Talk with some of our special guests. We expect
some members of
the families of Death Row inmates. We also expect Dave Keaton,
who was on Death Row until he was exonerated in 1973. These
people won't know anybody; you can be good hosts.
4. If you are willing to distribute flyers at your place
of work,
or worship, or elsewhere, call Jeff Walsh and volunteer. You
can reach him
at 915-0695.

I look forward to seeing you there. Questions: call me at 877-1609,
or
e-mail me the above address.
